Planning permission granted for Thames Road, Barking

April 28, 2022

Earlier this week planning permission was granted for Inland Homes PLC’s mixed-use scheme at Thames Road, Barking. Create provided multidisciplinary technical services to support the planning and costing, working alongside Planning Potential, KSS Design Group, and others.

The Thames Road urban regeneration project will be built on a brownfield site and provide 131 new homes, commercial floorspace and public realm enhancement that will create a new vibrant neighbourhood. We provided various requirements for the scheme including but not limited to a Detailed Circular Economy Statement and Energy Strategy; Baseline Noise Monitoring and 3D Noise Propagation Modelling; an Air Quality Assessment and Monitoring; MEP and Structural Design; Flood Risk and Drainage Assessment.

We were delighted to hear the news and are looking forward to seeing the scheme being built.
