Jody is a Chartered Engineer and Technical Director responsible for our Acoustics team. Jody has over 20 years’ experience in acoustics and joined Create in 2017 as an Associate Director before being promoted to his current role. Since then, Jody has built a strong repeat client base through his expert delivery of noise, dust and vibration consultancy on projects across a wide range of sectors. He is Chair of the Institute of Acoustics Eastern Branch, and he also sits on the Membership Committee for the Engineering Council. In 2024 he played a key role in Create becoming a member of the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC).
Jody brings extensive knowledge of noise, dust and vibration, and is adept at fieldwork, data gathering, modelling and the completion various reports and assessments across residential, commercial, defence and infrastructure schemes. His leadership skills and ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders make him well suited to taking overall acoustic responsibility on projects. He can also act as an Expert Witness.
Jody is kept active by his young family. You will often find him standing on the sideline at youth rugby, in and around Essex.
Acoustics and Air Quality consultancy supporting a major 1,525 home redevelopment of a former MoD site in Hounslow. Create’s work helped secure a unanimous resolution to grant planning permission in 2022 for Inland Homes.
Timber Works, delivered for Cambridge Investment Partnership, comprises 118 new council homes, 177 market-sale homes, and a range of community amenities. We provided multidisciplinary consultancy services between 2018 and 2025.
In 2019 we were appointed by MACE Group to monitor noise levels on site and protect the health and well-being for some of the 2,500 contractor personnel working on the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
