Our slightly late Christmas jumper day raises £305 for Crisis charity
We got a tad distracted this year and missed the official Christmas Jumper Day, held on Thursday 7th December, so we decided to host our own .
Create’s slightly late Christmas Jumper Day was held on Thursday 21st December and raised a fantastic £305 for our chosen Charity, Crisis. Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness and a cause close to our hearts, having previously fundraised for them on other occasions. Our people from across the UK were invited to don their best festive knitwear, the results of which can be seen below.
It is our hope that this donation helps provide a place for people experiencing homelessness to rest their heads, as well as helping them to upskill, navigate housing, access healthcare and much more, so they can build a life beyond homelessness. Just £29.73 can help make this someone’s last Christmas without a home, so we know we’ve helped a few people find a new home this Christmas.
Thank you to Charlie Catchpole for rallying the troops and sounding the festive call. We would also like to thank Swami Bala from Sweet Potato Tec for taking the photograph of our Chelmsford team.
