Create strengthens Civil Engineering team with the appointment of Emily Smart

Create are delighted to welcome a new Senior Infrastructure Engineer into the fold, Emily Smart. This appointment marks the continued expansion of our Civil Engineering team, which recently added a new Associate Director.

Prior to joining us, Emily held the roles of Civils / Structural Technician working for SPD Studio in Colchester and Haydn Evans Consulting in Ipswich. During this 7 year period she delivered technical services and advice for residential, commercial, retail, rail and marine projects. She also worked with notable clients such as Travelodge, Costa, Greggs, Starbucks and Burger King. Not only has this experience allowed Emily to utilise her civils knowledge but it has also required her to gain a greater understanding of other disciplines and technical requirements that go into project planning and delivery.

We are confident that Emily’s multidisciplinary skillset will greatly enhance the capabilities of our Civil Engineering team and wider business, ensuring we can continue to deliver high-quality planning advice and detailed design services to our clients on schemes across the UK.

When not at work, our newest addition enjoys finding new walks in the local area and taking her dog, Bobby, to his favourite places (most of which involve some form of water!). Emily is also a keen baker and is always looking out for a new recipe to try out.
