Create appointed to One Horton Heath – Secondary Infrastructure Delivery

We have been appointed by Eastleigh Borough Council to provide Acoustics and Air Quality Consultancy on One Horton Heath – Secondary Infrastructure Delivery.

One Horton Heath is the landmark major mixed-use development being self-delivered by Eastleigh Borough Council, located adjacent to the village of Horton Heath, to the east of Eastleigh in Hampshire. The development will provide 2,500 homes, a vibrant local centre, primary school and sports field, better infrastructure, three new commercial hubs and a host of connected spaces and informal areas for wildlife to thrive.

The awarded scope of works will see our consultants provide specialist support in order to attain detailed planning permission, highways adoption and all necessary consents and approvals for the site wide infrastructure delivery section of the development.

The works were competitively tendered and evaluated over a two-week period, with a 50% split on price and quality used to evaluate the bids. Our winning bid was awarded full marks for both elements and was commended for showcasing a very good range of relevant experience, alongside detailed CVs, and a clearly defined project management structure. Technical Director (Acoustics), Jody Blacklock will be taking overall responsibility for the delivery of the scope of works and has already begun working collaboratively alongside the Council’s team.
