Graham Sinclair attends Skegness Gateway engagement event

July 18, 2022

Earlier this month, Graham Sinclair attended an engagement event for the Skegness Gateway Urban Extension. This excellent event provided key local stakeholders, businesses and residents with an opportunity to discuss the proposals with the project team.

Skegness Gateway is a 136-hectare site located to the west of the town, which will deliver a major new sustainable urban extension for Skegness. Create have been working with the developers to ensure that the proposed site is protected from flooding. We have done this by developing a strategic coastal flood model that allows us to analyse sea-level, wind and wave data in order to evaluate the probability of extreme conditions such as flooding. Our team have also completed other flood risk and drainage related services to support the proposals.
