Symal Court on Edgware Road secures planning permission
Create are pleased to learn that the Symal Court scheme at 421-423 Edgware Road, London Borough of Brent, has received planning permission. The mixed-use development will provide 250 new homes with a mixture of 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments and affordable housing, retail space and a variety of public and private amenity spaces.
We have been working closely with Sheen Lane Developments Ltd, Pegasus Group, Base Associates Architects and the rest of the team to provide pre-planning multidisciplinary services. The requirements to date have involved our water and flood risk, energy, sustainability, air quality and contaminated land teams.
Our scope of works has included producing a variety of assessments (Whole Life Carbon, Flood Risk, Wind, Air Quality, Overheating, Contaminated Land) and statements (Circular Economy, Energy, Sustainability) to support the planning application. Our specialists have also provided detailed technical advice to the wider project team in relation to aspects such as MEP building services, geotechnical engineering and sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS).
