Who is Colin?
Colin is a Geo-environmental Consultant with over 35 years’ experience delivering geotechnical and environmental design, engineering and planning-stage input on projects across the UK and internationally. He joined Create in 2015 and has since played a key role in the growth and performance of our Geo-environmental team, helping to develop a robust technical service offering and strong repeat client base. Prior to this, Colin held senior and managing director roles within a number of consultancies and contractors. He began his career in engineering consultancy in 1991.
What Colin brings to our team?
Colin brings extensive expertise in early feasibility, site investigation, ground conditions, contamination and remediation. His experience includes environmental due diligence, pre-acquisition assessments and technical risk management. He is recognised for providing clear client guidance, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and developing practical solutions that meet statutory requirements, satisfy planning conditions and mitigate environmental risk.
Outside of work
Colin enjoys spending time with his family, playing squash and watching rugby.
In 2016 we were appointed to provide multidisciplinary services to support a planning application for Dimes Place in central London. The brownfield site will be reinvented to provide high quality and unique office space within Hammersmith.
A Cambridge Investment Partnership scheme, Campkin Road provides 75 new, highly sustainable homes and apartments, green spaces and a community centre. Create provided multidisciplinary services across the full project lifecycle.
Appointed in 2020, we have provided multidisciplinary services for this major mixed-use scheme in north west London, which will provide 252 homes, a retail outlet and expand the public realm with a mix of quality internal and external amenity.
