James Everitt joins as a Senior Flood Risk Consultant
We are delighted to announce the arrival of James Everitt, another new addition to our Water & Flood Risk team. James will take on the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant and will be based out of our Chelmsford office.
James has 10 years’ experience working in the water industry for national and regional consultancies. He has a Master’s Degree in Civil and Coastal Engineering from the University of Plymouth and specialises in software such as FLOW, ICM, QGIS and AutoCAD. He joined the industry in 2012 as a Graduate Modeller at Mouchell Consulting (now WSP), and has previously held the roles of Design Engineer, Hydraulic Modeller, FRA and Design Engineer.
In his new role, James will provide our clients with a broad set of skills regarding sewerage and surface water management including detailed 1D/2D model build, complex asset modelling, FRA’s, residential and commercial SuDS design, GIS data management and a wealth of experience in optioneering and flood mitigation. Under the management of Graham Sinclair, James will be mentored and assisted as he progresses towards attaining chartership status.
When not working, James likes to remain active and enjoys extreme sports. He previously lived in Courchevel where he spent his time snowboarding, which he misses and returns to as often as possible. He also enjoys cycling, woodwork, guitar and target shooting with air rifles.
