Harry Mansfield joins as a Senior Flood Risk Consultant
We’re delighted to welcome Harry Mansfield to the business. Harry has joined as a Senior Flood Risk Consultant based in Norwich. He will support Graham Sinclair and the Water & Flood Risk team, whose workstreams have continually grown over the past six months. Harry has hit the ground running, working closely with Amrie Singh on a number of ongoing hydraulic modelling projects.
Harry has an MSc with Merit in Integrated Management of Freshwater Environments from Queen Mary University of London, and over five years’ professional experience working within flood risk and water management.
He previously held roles at Buro Happold (Water Engineer) and Capita (Hydraulic Modeller), where he gained significant experience working on large and small scale regional, national and international projects. He possesses strong technical knowledge and is skilled in a variety of software including, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, Flood Modeller and GIS platforms such as QGIS, ArcGIS and Mapinfo. This software experience will directly benefit our clients and increase our in-house technical capabilities, allowing us to take on increasingly more complex projects and maintain high levels of quality.
Outside of work Harry enjoys sailing, travelling and cycling. He even spent the second half of last year on his bike, cycling across Europe. Or as he puts it, “true to my profession, I followed the major fluvial systems in Europe to cycle from the UK to Switzerland along the Rhine and from Switzerland to the Black Sea along the Danube, returning to the UK along the Mediterranean.”
