Create welcomes back Principal Civil Engineer Rob Brusselen to the business

June 07, 2024

Create are thrilled to welcome back Rob Brusselen, who previously worked here between 2015 and 2018. Rob will take on a Principal Civil Engineer role within our Civil Engineering team. He will be based in our Norwich office and will adopt a hybrid working arrangement.

Rob has over 30 years’ experience in the planning, design and construction of infrastructure projects and developments. He has experienced both sides of the industry, having worked for contractors and consultants. Rob initially started his career as a Groundworker before progressing through to a Contracts/Project Manager role. During this period, he delivered several projects including multiple warehouses at Broadland Business Park in Norwich, a police station in Aylsham and B&Q Superstore in King’s Lynn. After this spell, Rob gained significant experience working as a Site Agent/Resident Engineer for 10 years, responsible for various projects and works including monitoring the installation of onshore cables for wind turbines and reviewing groundworks on new build residential developments. He later switched to a consultancy role and has worked for several regional consultants providing civil engineering advice and technical services.

We are confident that Rob’s years of experience on site and his technical skillset will greatly enhance the capabilities of our Civil Engineering team and wider business, ensuring we can continue to deliver high-quality planning advice and detailed design services to our clients on schemes across the UK.

Outside of work, Rob loves to travel and his favourite places to be is up a snowy mountain. His hobbies and passions include snowboarding, swimming and golf.
