Oliver Gibbs joins Create as a Technical Assistant
Create are delighted to welcome Oliver Gibbs to the business in a newly created role.
Oliver joins us in a newly created role – Technical Assistant – splitting his time between our Acoustics, Air Quality, Transport & Highways disciples, whilst working out of our Chelmsford and Norwich offices.

The Technical Assistant role has been introduced to provide dedicated technical support across disciplines, supporting the delivery of high-quality assessments, surveys, and technical reports at feasibility, planning, design, and construction stages. In this role, Oliver will gain first-hand exposure to an engineering consultancy, working on a wide range of projects across the UK and collaborating closely with technical teams and external partners.
During his first few months, Oliver will work closely with Jody Blacklock and the Acoustics team, gaining hands-on experience of the discipline and the technical work delivered across the team.

Alongside his time at Create, Oliver is undertaking a marketing and content creation apprenticeship, developing skills in SEO, social media, digital platforms, and content production. We see this combined learning approach as a valuable way to broaden Oliver’s work experience and support his professional development – with the goal of providing clarity in terms of his future career.
