Colin is an Geo-environmental Specialist with over 30 years’ experience supporting projects at feasibility, planning, design and construction stages. He joined Create in 2015 and is responsible for the growth, output and performance of our Geo-environmental team.
Prior to joining Create, Colin held senior management roles within other engineering and environmental consultants and contracting companies. Throughout his career, Colin has been responsible for managing clients, developing teams, winning work and delivering specialist technical services. His experience of working on projects across the UK, Europe and further afield ensures our clients receive robust technical advice, no matter the scale or conditions of the ground.
Colin’s expertise ranges from environmental due diligence and pre-acquisition/divestment to environmental risk and site remediation. This expertise ensures projects meet statutory obligations, satisfy planning conditions and / or manage environmental liabilities.
An experienced manager and director of projects, Colin can work collaboratively with other consultants, planners, architects, contractors, developers, local authorities and asset managers. He is a highly motivated leader, capable of managing a project through to completion.
Outside of work, Colin enjoys spending time with his family, playing squash and watching rugby.
In 2016 we were appointed to provide multidisciplinary services to support a planning application for Dimes Place in central London. The brownfield site will be reinvented to provide high quality and unique office space within Hammersmith.
A Cambridge Investment Partnership scheme, Campkin Road will provide 75 new, highly sustainable homes and apartments, green spaces and a community centre. We provided multidisciplinary services to support the development from 2019 to late 2023.
Appointed in 2020, we have provided multidisciplinary services for this major mixed-use scheme in north west London, which will provide 252 homes, a retail outlet and expand the public realm with a mix of quality internal and external amenity.
