Who is Sam Ward?

Sam is a Senior Acoustic Consultant within our award-winning Acoustics team. He joined Create in 2019 as an Acoustic Engineer with developing experience, before progressing to Acoustic Consultant and his current role. Prior to joining Create, he worked as an Environmental Technician at WYG Group. Sam has since completed a master’s degree in Applied Acoustics and developed a strong technical skillset across a diverse range of projects. In March 2024, he was appointed as the Young Members Representative for the Institute of Acoustics Eastern Branch.


What does Sam bring to our team?

Sam brings skills in field work and the installation of permanent and semi-permanent noise and vibration monitoring equipment, as well as site-based noise surveys and assessments. He takes a dynamic and adaptable approach that ensures he remains responsive to client needs, and has demonstrated strong reliability and efficiency when working independently in remote or challenging environments.


Outside of work

Sam enjoys writing and recording music, playing football and tennis, and can often be found enjoying a game of darts at his local pub.

Cavalry Barracks Hounslow mixed-use development masterplan showing residential buildings, central green space, landscaping, and pedestrian pathways approved for planning.

Acoustics and Air Quality consultancy supporting a major 1,525 home redevelopment of a former MoD site in Hounslow. Create’s work helped secure a unanimous resolution to grant planning permission in 2022 for Inland Homes.

Cavalry Barracks

Temporary compound and car park facility with white perimeter fencing, coloured shipping containers, and access road bordered by wildflower planting.

Create provided multidisciplinary technical services for a temporary compound and car park to support F‑35 facilities at RAF Lakenheath, balancing ecological protection with operational readiness in a sensitive Special Protected Area.
