Sam Ward

Senior Acoustic Consultant

Sam joined Create in 2019 as an Acoustic Engineer before progressing to Acoustics Consultant in 2023 and subsequently being promoted to Senior Acoustic Consultant in November 2025. Prior to joining our Acoustics team, he worked as an Environmental Technician at WYG Group.

Since joining Create, Sam has completed a master’s degree in Applied Acoustics and developed a strong technical skillset supporting a diverse range of projects for clients across the UK. His specialisms include field work and the installation of permanent and semi-permanent noise and vibration monitoring equipment.

Sam also undertakes site-based noise surveys and assessments, applying a dynamic and adaptable approach to ensure he remains responsive to client needs. Often working independently and remotely, he has demonstrated exceptional reliability, efficiency, and a clear commitment to professional growth.

In March 2024, Sam was appointed as the Young Members Representative for the Institute of Acoustics Eastern Branch.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys writing and recording music, playing football and tennis, and can often be found enjoying a game of darts at his local pub.
