Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) Projects 2021-2022

Over the academic calendar of 2021-22 (September to August), we visited schools nationwide to carry out various technical requirements in support of Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) projects scheduled for the holiday period. These projects were managed by RAM Building Consultancy, to whom we were subcontracted. The scope and scale of work varied, requiring our team to operate within tight deadlines to deliver essential reports, surveys, inspections, and technical drawings on time, ensuring project completion before the start of the new school year.

The projects included:

• Design, selection, and installation of new plant including commissioning.
• Reviews of building structures including roofs and gables, etc.
• Investigation of ground conditions for future works.
• Reviews of drainage systems after flood events, toilet blockages, etc.
• Replacement hot and cold water services.
• Replacement of heating systems, installation of new gas boilers, etc.
• Reviews of existing Building Management Systems (BMS) including old underfloor pipes, etc.
