Will is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 25 years’ experience spanning consultancy, client, and contractor roles. His background includes secondments with the Environment Agency and Hampshire County Council, providing him with a broad understanding of how infrastructure projects are planned, designed, and delivered from multiple perspectives.
He joined Create in 2025 as a Technical Director, responsible for the growth and strategic direction of Create’s Civil Engineering discipline. His multidisciplinary expertise, combined with specialist experience in recruitment, succession, and strategic planning, ensures a strong focus on developing both people and processes to support the company’s long-term ambitions.
Will is passionate about delivering high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions and fostering the next generation of civil engineers through mentorship and technical excellence.
Outside of work, Will also shares his expertise as a part-time maths teacher, teaching Level 2, 3 and 5 mathematics to the next generation of engineers. He also volunteers time at his local food bank.
