Sunanda is a highly qualified Environmental and Sustainability Consultant with over 24 years’ experience working in the UK, Australia, the United Arab Emirates and India. She joined Create in early 2023 as an Associate Director and quickly progressed to the role of Technical Director, responsible for the growth and performance of our Sustainability team.
Sunanda is a certified Lead Auditor for EMS ISO 14001, a LEED AP for Building Design and Construction, and a BREEAM Accredited Professional and Assessor. She provides expert advice on sustainability, design and assessment, and can carry out post-construction certification and ensure projects meet their sustainability targets. Alongside her green building certification expertise, she provides technical services across feasibility studies for decarbonisation, net zero road maps, GHG emission reporting, stakeholder engagement, and environmental management plans.
Sunanda enjoys hiking and exploring different countries. She also writes articles and blogs on environmental and sustainability topics for several online publications.
Our Sustainability team have been supporting the proposed redevelopment of Hornsey Police Station since 2022. Koukan Developments’ proposals will see the police station refurbished and extended to provide six terraced houses and four flats.
