Matthew joined Create in November 2020 as Marketing Manager, tasked with overhauling the company’s brand and leading the development of a new website.
Having spent five years as Marketing and Digital Coordinator for RG Carter Construction, his strong understanding of the construction and engineering sectors enabled him to quickly elevate Create’s brand and market position, particularly within Norfolk. He wireframed, designed 2D visuals for and managed the launch of Create’s new website, which went live in October 2023. Matthew has also delivered year-on-year growth across social channels and contributed to the wider management and administration of the business.
Alongside his marketing duties, Matthew played a key role managing and writing qualitative elements for tender submissions, often taking the lead and ensuring bids are submitted on time. Notable wins have included Hornsea Three Lot 3 onshore infrastructure elements for Orsted (Traffic/Transport), One Horton Heath (Acoustics/Air Quality) for Eastleigh Borough Council, and Daleham Gardens for NW3 CLT (Sustainability/MEP Building Services).
In March 2025, Matthew was promoted to Brand, Marketing & Proposals Manager – a title that more accurately reflects his responsibilities and impact on the business. Later that year, he became a full Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM).
A team player, Matthew is comfortable working across all levels of the business and is known for his creativity and keen eye for design.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his partner along the Suffolk coast, watching films, playing videogames, and following a variety of sports. He can often be found in the nearest hi-fi shop, admiring technology he insists he doesn’t need but definitely wants.
