Who is Martyn?
Martyn is an Acoustic Consultant within our Acoustics team. He joined Create in April 2025, having previously been at Adrian James Acoustics, where he progressed from a junior role to managing complex projects independently. Martyn has over 6 years’ experience providing acoustics support to developments across the UK, working from feasibility and planning right through to construction and handover. He is a proactive Member of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA).
What Martyn brings to our team?
Martyn brings developing experience in building acoustics design, environmental noise assessment and modelling, and acoustic commissioning and testing. He is proficient in CadnaA and CATT-Acoustic, and has a genuine commitment to knowledge-sharing, regularly delivering CPD seminars on acoustic best practice.
Outside of work
Martyn is a dedicated Liverpool fan and enjoys both watching and playing football. He keeps active through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (which he describes as “wrestling people in a dressing gown”) and regular gym sessions. He is also a keen musician, often found playing bass guitar at gigs in Norwich and further afield.
